New lunch sketch.
Worked on this last night. I’m pretty happy with it.
Ink washes, chalk, charcoal, and posca pens on Rives BFK.
In related new, it is fun trying to draw with half your thumbnail ripped off. =/
New stuff from the Moleskine. Did this one at lunch today and the other after the vision verse show.
Goofy skull I did the other day. Happy Friday everyone!

Done, I think.
Work in progress started at lunch today.
Sketched during lunch.
That was a baaaaaad pun, I know.
So my buddy Dan informed me I was a bum for not drawing anything new today, so I just made this. Hooray for not being a bum.
Nothing new of note today, so I’m posting some older stuff that hasn’t made it up here yet. Enjoy.
Now for something a bit different! I love sci-fi and I don’t draw stuff like this enough.
Here is one I’ve been messing with for a couple days. I love getting abstract with hair, it’s another subject that you can turn your brain off with and just draw.
Skulls are fun when you don’t really want to think. This was an easy subject to fool around with some cross hatching on.
Started this while waiting for Casey Weldon to speak at the baton rouge gallery, finished it up and did the red tint and highlights last night.
Only a select few know from whence the bearcat came…
More lunch break material. The skull guy is the recent chest cold I had.
In other news the astronaut is done and I’ll put the finished work up soon as I get a good scan of it. Here’s a sneak peek until then.
