This is for the Dinosaur Show at the Henning Cultural Center on May 9th.
Prints of this (finally) finished piece are available at my Society6 shop.
I put some previews of this up earlier, but I haven’t shown the final product yet. Ink on paper, 22″ x 22″.
Ink and Posca paint pens.
Another recently finished ink piece. 15″ x 22″ on arches watercolor paper.
Crazy Friday night. Using dip pen with black ink and white gouache.
Finished this big ink piece. About 99% of this was done with a nib and the rest with a flat brush, using dr. Martin’s black star matte ink.
What I’m working on right now.
An experiment inking with a flat nib.
Brush pen on paper
This is for a top secret project. Penciled and then inked by hand. I love doing stuff like this.
New stuff from the Moleskine. Did this one at lunch today and the other after the vision verse show.
I’m pretty sure this is finished, but I can’t guarantee it won’t be tinkered with before it gets framed.
This is going in a local show in two weeks. Super procrastination GO!

This will be the first print that hits my Etsy store. I’ll keep everyone posted on that.

Ok, this is kinda gross, but I had a great time making it. I used a Pentel brush pen, watercolors, a white gel pen and some farber castell markers. Enjoy!
Started this while waiting for Casey Weldon to speak at the baton rouge gallery, finished it up and did the red tint and highlights last night.
Only a select few know from whence the bearcat came…
Oh my, two new posts in two days! What are the chances of this happening again? (not good.)
Here are some new scans from my current 3×5″ moleskine, the poor thing fell out of my pocket Christmas eve and was drizzled upon for about ten hours before I found it in the driveway Chrismas Day. HOORAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS! =\
Luckily the damage wasnt’ as bad as I would have thought other than some slight rippling of the pages. A bit of Photoshop trickery was used in getting some of the imperfections those waves caused during scanning.
Sniff the flowers
Hello all, Not quite so long a gap here as usual. I’m putting up a mix of stuff here. Some of it is from before the last post, some new, and the big finished piece was started over 6 months ago only to be picked up last Thursday and finished over the weekend. This is in addition some freelance work I’m doing as well, so I have been keeping busy. I’d love to hear any comments, so fire away if you have any.
This next one is a big finished piece. I had lots of fun with this, especially the brain pattern in the trees in the background.
and as an added bonus, I’m adding in a portrait of yours truly done by the talented Johnny Segura. Check out his work here: http://auronasia.deviantart.com/
